About the project
Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) came to 1Question, where I was project manager at the time, with the request to help their potential audience in making a choice of a performance for the 2018/2019 season. NDT consists of NDT1 and NDT2: young talents and dancers who have been in the business for a while. They also programme modern classics, but also experimental work and choreographies by new makers. Together with the strategist, conversation design expert and developer, 1Question developed a ‘choice aid’ for NDT. I.e. a user conversational interface.
Result
By answering a number of simple and fun questions the user’s preference became clear and they could immediately book a ticket in the nearest theatre for the performance of their choice. The conversion from ‘chat’ to direct ticket sales was 37%, making it a great success.
